OneRepublic Twitter Background Contest Rules
Design a twitter background for OneRepublic twitter profile (@OneRepublic).
Participants from all countries are welcome to enter!
When does it begin?
October 19, 2009
Deadline for submissions:
November 19, 2009
*Please Note: After submitting your design please keep your original files safe and secure. The winners will need to send the original files to OneRepublic for use. They will contact the winners with details.
Who will be judging the contest?
The band will choose 1st place, and the public will choose 2nd and 3rd place.
Prizes
Prizes will be offered to the top 3 designs!
- First Place: Signed poster, 1 copy of OneRepublics new album “Waking Up”, T-Shirt, and design used on the official OneRepublic twitter for 1 week.
- Second Place: Signed poster, 1 Copy of OneRepublic’s new album “Waking Up”, T-Shirt
- Third Place: Signed poster, 1 Copy of OneRepublic’s new album “Waking Up”, T-Shirt
Rules
- You must use OneRepublic’s “Waking Up” album artwork found at: http://totalassault.com/assets/?team_id=394
- You may also use all OneRepublic logos, banners, or stock images found at: http://totalassault.com/assets/?team_id=394
- To win you must be following OneRepublic (@OneRepublic) on Twitter. It wouldn’t hurt to follow @TwitterBGallery as well, so we could communicate with you directly should there be any problem with your upload
- Submit as many entries as you want.
- We must receive your files and they must be usable. *See note above.
- All Artwork must be original.
- Professional, Creative, Family-Friendly designs only please. (TBG team will be moderating the offending entries out).
- By submitting your design, you release your rights & give Totalassault.com
& OneRepublic full use of the design. - We reserve the right to make changes to the contest at any time.
Tips
- View tips and resources on TwitterBackgroundsGallery.com
- Multiple resolutions will be viewing the backgrounds.
- Please credit yourself on the design (you can put ‘designed by…’ for instance)
- Must be up-loadable to twitter… test on your twitter profile first.

“Open to all countries” just means that the rules have changed. Originally, the contest was only for the US & Canada participants, but the organizers reconsidered and opened the contest to the participants worldwide.

i think some designs are really not good..but they got many votes,because they have more friends in twitter?
